Trading Risk

Trading foreign exchange (Forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), cryptocurrencies, commodities, indices, and other financial instruments on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite.

Algorithmic Trading Risk

Algorithmic and automated trading strategies carry unique risks including but not limited to: software bugs, connectivity failures, data feed errors, market gaps, flash crashes, and unexpected market conditions that the algorithm was not designed to handle. No algorithm can predict or account for all possible market scenarios.

Backtest Limitations

Backtested performance results have many inherent limitations. Unlike actual trading results, backtests do not represent actual trading. Since trades have not actually been executed, results may have under-or-over-compensated for the impact of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity, slippage, and commission costs. Backtesting programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight.

Technology Risk

Our services depend on technology infrastructure including servers, internet connectivity, and third-party APIs. System failures, cyber attacks, or infrastructure outages could impact strategy execution or platform availability. Nhuga Research Labs is not liable for losses resulting from technological failures beyond our reasonable control.

Regulatory Risk

Financial regulations vary by jurisdiction and are subject to change. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of our strategies and services complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Funded trading platforms may also change their rules, which could affect strategy eligibility.

Capital at Risk

You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Do not use emergency funds, retirement savings, or borrowed money for trading. Only use risk capital — funds that, if lost, would not impact your standard of living or financial obligations.
